Preparing for Your Shoot
What should I do before the photographer arrives?
A few quick things make the biggest difference:
Move cars out of the driveway, into the garage or down the street
Open all blinds and curtains
Turn on every light, inside and out
Turn off ceiling fans and TVs
Put trash cans out of sight
Put pet bowls, beds and litter boxes away, and plan for pets to be out of the house or crated
How do I protect my valuables and privacy?
Put away cash, jewelry, medications and important papers. Remove mail and anything with your personal information. Lock up firearms, and tell us if there is anything we should not photograph.
What should I do for the shoot itself?
Unlock gates, garages, basements and attics we need to reach. Plan to be out of the home during the shoot if you can, and keep your phone nearby in case we have a question.
What if my listing includes a twilight shoot?
We shoot the exterior just after sunset with every light on, inside and out. Please leave the lights on until we say we are done.
Media Delivery
When will I get my photos and video?
Delivery is the next day by noon.
How do I receive my media?
Your finished media is delivered online through a download link or your customer portal. If you cannot find your delivery, call or email us and we will help.
Your Customer Portal & Orders
What can I do in my customer portal?
Your customer portal is your dashboard for everything we deliver. The left-hand menu has:
Listings: past listings, downloading media, creating flyers, postcards and social graphics, and customizing each property website.
Orders: your full order history. Open an order to see details, complete a payment, download an invoice, or view or change the appointment.
Payment Cards: save a card for faster payment next time.
Social Profile Links: add Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other profiles so they can appear on your property websites and marketing.
Log in and open Orders (or the listing under Listings).
Open the order or listing with the appointment.
Scroll to the Appointment details and click Reschedule.
Choose a new date and time from the open slots and confirm. A confirmation email lets you add it to your calendar.
The same Reschedule button is used to cancel. If it is missing or no times are shown, that appointment cannot be changed online, so use the contact details at the bottom of this page.
Payment is due at delivery. Open Orders, choose the order, and use the payment option on the order page. You can save a card under Payment Cards for faster payment next time.
How do I update my name, phone, photo or license number?
Log in and open Settings, then User Details.
Edit your name, email, phone number, time zone, password or profile photo. To change the photo, drag your headshot into the upload box or click to choose a file.
Enter your MLS or license number exactly as it appears on your official documents. It then shows with your contact details on your property websites.
Save your changes (the button at the bottom of the page).
Treat the order form link inside your portal like a password. It is tied to your account, so anyone with it could see your account details, saved payment methods and order history. Do not share it. If an assistant needs to order, add them to your team, or use our public order form instead: online order form.
Check that your order is paid. Downloads can be held until payment is complete. Open Orders in your portal, finish any payment due, then use the download link again. Also check your browser's pop-up and download settings, and try a different browser if it still stalls.
Windows: open File Explorer, find the zip folder named for the property, right-click it and choose Extract All. To grab one file, double-click the zip and drag it out.
Mac: double-click the zip file to open it, then open the folder inside and drag out what you need.
iPhone or iPad: press and hold a single photo to save it to your camera roll.
What is the difference between branded and unbranded links?
Every listing has two property website links.
Branded: shows your name, contact details, headshot and logo. Use it on social media, your own website, YouTube and email, where contact details help bring in leads.
Unbranded: shows only the property, with no agent details. Use it on the MLS, where most systems do not allow agent branding in tours.
Both are on the listing page, and in the download center under Property Websites.
Open the listing and expand Property Details in the Marketing section.
Choose a status from Property Status (Draft, Coming Soon, For Sale, For Lease, Pending, Sold, Leased or Off Market) and click Save Status.
Click Autocomplete Details to pull in public records, or fill in price, MLS number, beds and baths, square feet, lot acres, parking, year built, type and description.
Click Update Property Details, then preview the site.
Can I replace the address with a custom name or tagline?
Yes, for example "Just Listed". Open the listing, expand Property Details and Status in the Marketing area, type it in Custom Property Name, and click Update Property Details. It shows at the top left of the website. It changes only the display, not the address or link.
To hide: on the Images tab, open the three-dot menu on a photo and choose Hide in gallery. To bring it back, choose Display in gallery.
To reorder: go to Images under Media, choose Rearrange, drag photos into place and click Save. Use a computer and move photos in small batches if you have many.
To group photos: choose + Create groups, name each group, then move photos into them and save.
Open the listing, click Download at the top right, then Visit Download Center.
Go to the Videos tab and choose Download Videos.
Unzip the file. An .mp4 can be uploaded straight to a new Facebook post with Photo/Video. If you only see a YouTube or Vimeo link, paste that link into your post instead.
Add a caption and publish.
Uploading the video file usually gets more engagement than posting a link.
How do I get a QR code for open house signs and flyers?
Log in, open the listing and click the QR code icon in the header at the top. The image downloads to your device, ready for flyers, postcards, brochures and signs.
